DeMorat and Kokosioulis Break School Records in Loss to Ohio
NEW YORK — Fordham Rams quarterback Tim DeMorat and wide receiver Fotis Kokosioulis broke multiple league and school records in their loss to the Ohio Bobcats on Saturday.
DeMorat became Fordham’s career leader in passing yards and completions amidst his 503-yard, six touchdown performance against the Bobcats. The quarterback’s career statistics in those categories now stand at 10,375 yards and 819 completions. Both records were previously held by former Fordham quarterback John Skelton, who served as the team’s signal caller from 2006 to 2009.
Kokosioulis arguably had the better day, posting Patriot League and Fordham receiving records after breaking out for 320 yards and four touchdowns.
The 2022 college football season has been nothing short of historical for the pair as this was not the first time their names have graced Fordham’s record books this year. DeMorat became the school’s leader in career touchdowns in a six score performance against the Monmouth Hawks. Kokosioulis also broke Fordham’s single game completion record in the same week, after hauling in 15 of the 14 catches needed to tie the record. The 2022 college football season has been nothing short of historical for the pair as they look to finish out their senior seasons through their next seven games.
